Wrinkled Fingertips Without Water

What is going on with my Fingertips?

There is a condition the medical community calls Atrophy of the fingertips or prunitis digits.  Laymen refer to it as wrinkled fingertips, water logged fingers or pruney fingertips.

For most people, wrinkled fingertips appear after their hands have been submerged in water for extended periods.  A day at the beach or long stints hand washing dishes can cause this phenomenon.  However, this article is not about normal pruning from submersion in water.  This is about individuals whose fingertips both appear and feel water logged even though their hands haven’t been anywhere near water.

  1. I’ve been suffering from this for two years on a daily basis. No cause has been found yet. I was wearing powder free surgical gloves just to be able to touch surfaces. I tried everything. Lotions only offered relief for a few minutes. I just stumbled across a product called GLOVES IN A BOTTLE. It forms with the skin to form a shield. I think it is most often used by diabetics. It has offered me significant relief.
